Our name is inspired by Tenzing Norgay, the Sherpa who guided Sir Edmund Hillary to the summit of Mount Everest in 1953. Like Tenzing, we don't just point the way. We climb alongside founders through the difficult terrain of building and scaling a startup.
The "Alpha" in our name reflects our approach to returns. We generate outperformance through hands-on support and disciplined portfolio management. This means actively working with our companies to create value, and making tough decisions when needed. Our goal is to deliver returns that come from operational improvement, not just market timing.
